FIXED LOUVERS

Fixed Louvers that Fit Your Unique Structure and Needs

Metallic Products’ fixed louvers are a virtually maintenance-free way to help your metal buildings breathe, and an important component of your overall ventilation system. Designed to fit directly into your pre-engineered steel building wall panels, they feature a 55% free area that allows fresh air to flow indoors while keeping moisture, insects and debris safely out. The end result? Cooler interiors, regulated humidity levels and healthier, more comfortable spaces.

With a weather-resistant build, immovable 45-degree roll-formed blades, 4” depth and riveted frames, your fixed louvers are engineered to stand up against the elements. Meanwhile, a wide range of sizes, colors and finishes ensures your finished product won’t just be able to manage the airflow your space requires — but it will look good doing it, too.

Interested in additional louver options? We offer adjustable and architectural louvers, too. For those with steel buildings in areas regularly impacted by hurricanes or high wind scenarios, we offer enhanced louvers with Florida product approval. These reinforced versions of our fixed wall louver are engineered to meet the Florida Building Commission’s stringent building codes — and undergo extensive testing, inspection and ongoing evaluation to ensure they offer the utmost protection against whatever Mother Nature has in store.

Fixed louvers feature stationary blades that allow air to flow through at a constant rate, while adjustable louvers have movable blades that let you control airflow. Fixed louvers are an ideal option for operations with consistent ventilation needs. Adjustable options, meanwhile, offer more flexibility.

A:

Yes! Fixed louvers are designed to allow airflow while helping to keep out rain, debris and insects. Features such as angled blades and integrated screens work together to protect your metal building from the elements.

A:

Absolutely. Fixed louvers are a reliable metal building ventilation solution for industrial applications, especially when consistent airflow is needed. They’re commonly used in warehouses, manufacturing facilities and other large-scale structures.

A:

Louver sizing depends on factors such as required airflow (CFM), building size and system design. Free area — the percentage of open space allowing air to pass through — plays a key role. For best results, your accessories provider can help determine the right size and configuration for your project.

A:

Yes! Fixed louvers are often used as intake openings, allowing fresh air to enter a building as part of a balanced ventilation system. When paired with exhaust options such as ridge vents or power vents, they help encourage effective airflow throughout the structure.
