Dear Valued Customers,
At Metallic Products we have a moral obligation to keep our employees safe. We are well aware of the uncertainty and concern with regard to the COVID-19 coronavirus. At the same time, we are committed to the needs of our customers at these uncertain times.
Metallic Products has taken several precautionary steps to ensure the safety of our employees and their families while still maintaining the high level of production efficiency and product quality that our customers expect from us. Some, but by no means all, of those steps are listed below:
In other words, we are utilizing all precautions to mitigate any spread/contraction of the virus both at work and at home. However, our biggest challenge continues to be mitigating the fear that seems to have gripped the entire country. To that end, I want to ensure all of you that Metallic Products will be open for business to service your needs to the extent that we are allowed to do so. Certainly, we do not want to be reckless in our operations. But, as a manufacturing facility, we do not have the ability to work remotely. It is my intention to have Metallic Products serve as the calm ship in a violent storm for as long as is safely possible.
We are in a strong position with our supply chain to have domestic suppliers for all of our raw materials. Currently we do not foresee any disruption to our ability to maintain our standing as the world’s largest manufacturer of metal building accessories. With that being the case, please do not hesitate to let us know if we can be of any assistance to you and your company if your production has been interrupted.
We will continue to update you as the situation evolves. As a third-generation owner of Metallic Products, I know that this company has ridden the wave of uncertainty many times in our 58-year history. I remain confident that the unprecedented reaction to this virus will not prevent us from riding out the storm with you and becoming better partners for it. In the meantime, our prayers for safety and health go out to each of you and your families.
Sincerely,
Travis Wendt,
Owner/President
