Florida has Approved Five of our Ventilator and Louver Products

We are pleased to announce the Florida Building Commission has recently approved five models of the company's ventilator and louver products for use by the construction industry in Florida. These products are modified versions of our standard product line and, like the standard models, are specifically designed for use in metal building construction. The approval encompasses the entire state of Florida, with the exception of Dade and Brower counties.

The approved ventilation products include:

• 9-inch x 10-foot Continuous Ridge Ventilator, Florida# FL8069.1
• 12-inch x 10-foot Continuous Ridge Ventilator, Florida# FL7254.1
• RidgeLine Low Profile Ventilator, Florida# FL7254.2
• Fixed Blade Louver, Florida# FL7235.1
• Center-Pivot Adjustable Louver, Florida# FL7235.2

"We worked closely with approved outside testing facilities, third-party evaluators and validators to develop these products to meet Florida's stringent hurricane building codes," said Daryl Wendt, MP Chief Executive Officer. "These products underwent various wind uplift and large missile-impact testing. Additionally, as part of the ongoing approval process, we are participating in a Quality Assurance Program administered by an outside agency. This agency performs annual audits of MP's internal Quality Assurance Manual and manufacturing procedures."
